Boss of All Bosses is the second studio album by America rapper Slim Thug. Most songs were recorded from 2008 to 2009 by Mr. Lee, J. Lacy, and was mixed by Grammy Award-winning mix engineer/producer Mike Dean. The album was met with generally favorable reviews from music critics and publications upon its release. The album also debuted at number fifteen on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with 32,000 copies sold in the first week released.[11] No song on the album has a beats-per-minute (tempo) value of more than 90 bpm.[12]
Singles
The first single from the album was "I Run", produced by Jim Jonsin, and features Yelawolf. This song's chorus is based on "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls, with different lyrics ("I run the streets all night and day"). The second single from the album was "Thug" produced by Mr. Lee, and contains elements of the Eazy-E song "Eazy-Duz-It".
